7/18/01: Dalnir Raid coming up this Sunday July 22 at 8pm CST. Our new allies OCS Order of the Crimson Sword are running this raid. This will be a god raid for levels 25 or so and up possibly lower depending on the turnout. If you are going to need transport to this event plan ahead as this dungeon is a ways from the nearest bind points and TP spot. Like the Najeena raid this is not being run by TSG so please be organized and on time. Listen closely to the raid coordinator, probably herculez, and refrain form using the /say and /ooc channels in and around the raid zone. Use Guild chat or tell instead. If you need to find out where this place is or want to read up on the mobs and loot go to one of the sites on the links page especially eqatlas for good maps.
7/03/2001: On Saturday July 7 at 9pm EST (that’s 2 am on July 8 GMT) there will be a raid of the najeena zone run by our potential allies Order of the Crimson Sword. This meant as a get to know each other session and to feel each other out for our possible alliance. Members of CoD our present allies will be there as well and if all goes well this alliance will be a 3-way alliance with among other goals, being able to get a spot on the dragon raid rotation by ourselves instead of being part of The Karana Council of Guild Raids. If approved by all 3 groups we will have an alliance with approximately 100 active members. All members who are on line will be expected to attend this event, as it is very important for the future of our Guild. If you are not able to attend then please email me or post to the boards so I can get an accurate count of who is going to be there to Herculez, the event coordinator for OotCS. This zone, if you are not familiar with it, is off of Lavastorm Mountains, which is north of Nektulos Forrest, which is north of East Commons. Check out Eqatlas for maps and zone info. This zone is appropriate for groups of level 15 and up with the highest mobs being near 30 so this is a good raid for the lower members of the guild in terms of xp and loot. I unfortunately have to work that night and won’t be in Norrath until much later. I am trying to switch my shift to change this. Well that’s it for now I will post this to the message board as well.
6/22/2001: Starting at 7pm CST on Sunday night the 24th there will be a raid of Dalnir by COD and TSG members. Levels are from 25 to 40. The purpose of this raid is to get Cebi, a monk from COD, some of the nice monk armor that drops on the lower levels there so she will get first dibs on this armor with other monks getting in line after her. Pretty much everything else of significant value will be lotto. There will probably be 2 or more groups with one higher-level group working on the lower levels and a lower level group working on level 1. This is a great zone for xp with pretty decent pp and some real nice loot items and myself, Destructress, oneyewilly and most members of COD have had extensive playing time in the zone and we know it well. IMHO it is THE best zone in game for levels 30- to 35. Hope to see as many of you there as possible. Here is a link to eqatlas map and info on Dalnir.
6/17/2001: There is a Nagafan raid being conducted by the Karana Council of Guilds that members of Children of Discord and The Star Gazers will be participating in. It should happen on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week depending on when Naggy spawns next. Check out the COD website or contact Destructress in game for more info.
